Hi, Friends:

Since publishing my last Substack, I received a handful of requests for the data.

This compilation of data was a hefty effort due to the manual nature of recording rates from the years 1900-1967. (Heck — it took me longer to get the data than to do the analysis itself, but such is always the case!)

As a thank you to paid subscribers, I am sharing the compiled dataset here, together with links to the original source files and a detailed explanation of measurement decisions.
